A Parish Council election will be held this year when the current 4 year term comes to an end. On 5 May 2022 there will be a vote (if contested) but no vote if there are exactly (or less than) 11 nominations for the position of Parish Councillor at Stilton Parish Council (uncontested). SPC currently has 9 serving councillors.

If you would like to join SPC and become a Parish Councillor, nomination forms need to be completed and returned to Huntingdonshire District Council between Monday 28 March and Tuesday 5 April 2022 (by 4pm).

Please find the nomination pack attached below and also an annotated nomination form which provides extra guidance when filling out the forms.

The clerk will be making a trip to HDC HQ on Monday 4 April at 10am so if you have a completed nomination form to send in – just contact to arrange collection of the form or telephone 01733 639106. Alternatively you can hand deliver your own form … HDC are recommending emailing to arrange a delivery slot.
