Carpet Bowls

Stilton Carpet Bowls Club sessions are held in Stilton Pavilion on Mondays 14.00-16.00 and Fridays 19.30-21.30.

Fortisimo Band Performances

Fortissimo Swing Band rehearsals are held at the Pavilion on Wednesday evenings between 20.00-21.30.

We have been performing/gigging for some years now and can tailor our program for concerts, weddings, parties, 40’s nights etc. Charts range from the 1920’s onward with many falling into the classic dance band sound of the 40’s. More “up-to-date” pieces are also given the swing band treatment, because, as the song rightly says, “it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing”.

Fortissimo are lucky enough to have both a female and male vocalist, who cover any style, whether it be Latin, Jive, Blues or Ballad.

We pride ourselves on helping make fundraising events a success, and are able to negotiate a reduced rate for a good cause.

Futsal Tots

Thursdays – 10:00-10:45

Futsal Tots sessions introduce your little ones to organised futsal sessions through lots of fun games based around their physical, social and emotional developing and also incorporating the world around them with numbers, colours and animal sounds. These sessions will be parent and child interactive.

First session is free and having fun is guaranteed.

Jungle Body Getlow Fitness

Jungle Body Getlow Fitness – 11.00-noon on Wednesday’s (Commencing 15th March 2023)

This is a 45 minute low impact, low cardio workout using dance, boxing, dumbbells, light cardio set to seriously good music from across the decades to transform your mind and body. The safe workout will minimise impact on the joints, muscles and bones and will make you sweat without you even realising! It’s big on results, plus it is so much fun that you’ll forget you’re working out. No experience required.

Pilates with Fran

Pilates with Fran is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 09.30-10.30.

This is a mixed ability class that is run by Frances Crooks, a Chartered Physiotherapist who specialises in musculoskeletal injuries including back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee problems. Pilates is a great way to rehabilitate these or to help build strength in the core muscles needed for all activities.

We use a variety of equipment (that is provided each week) and all you need is a Yoga/Pilates mat and a bottle of water. We ask that jeans are avoided and participants wear comfortable/loose/gym clothing. Trainers are not needed, most of people wear socks or bare feet for the class.

Pilates with Vicky (over 50s)

Pilates with Vicky is an over 50’s class at Stilton Pavilion held on Fridays from 11.30-12.30.

Classes are £7 a session or 5 classes for £33 or 10 classes for £60.

Vicky provides all equipment but requests that you bring a mat if you have one please (but she always has some with her if you forget).

Yoga

The aim of yoga is to help you rediscover who you truly are. It consists of brilliant exercises that can help relieve your stress and lead you to relaxation.

Yoga sessions are held at Stilton Pavilion on Thursdays between 17.30-19.00.

Zumba Fitness with Annie

Zumba Fitness with Annie is held on Thursdays from 20.00-21.00.

Annie has been a Zumba instructor for 7 years, also teaches Zumba Kids and is trained in Gold and Strong by Zumba too.

Her aim is to bring a fun filled hour of dance, where you can leave the day at the door and just relax, have fun and burn off a few of those pesky calories too.

Zumba is a form of fitness class in which you burn off calories by dancing to different kinds of lively tunes, often Latin-American inspired such as salsa, merengue and samba, but also other types of modern music like hip hop and Bollywood, it’s also very fun and doesn’t feel like exercise at all.
